Purpose:
· Support the Employee Solutions Manager and respective business units with generalist responsibilities including acting as a liaison with the broader HR Solutions team and other HR centers of expertise as well as legal as appropriate to support First Serve model.

Financial Responsibility: Adhere to all budget requirements as outlined by Director, Employee Solutions.

Complexity of Role: High level of independent thinking to drive policy and compliance agenda and contribute to business needs and business strategies. Strong ability to analyze and make recommendations based on the analysis. Regulatory expertise is necessary to ensure compliance of employee programs, policy and processes. Possess understanding of national, state and local employment laws.

Management Responsibility: Advise employees and line-managers on Diageo’s policies and processes.

Decision Making
1. Make independent decisions in answering ASK HR questions as it relates to policy, procedure and practices. Deliver professional feedback to the business as it relates to questions/concerns on Diageo Policy.

2. Make data integrity decisions to solve problems, questions and reporting functionality to ensure accuracy in coordination with the business partners, stakeholders and line management.


Key Outputs/Deliverables:
1. Implement Employee Solutions Account Management way of working, which includes tracking and measuring needs for business units and proactively and independently engaging HR Solutions team. In addition, will track and report back on SLA performance metrics for respective business unit, JML reporting, identify trends, and develop proactive action plans to drive to solution.
2. Partner with the ES Manager on Employee Relations issues as directed, which include performance management, conflict resolution, investigations, and policy and code violations. Provide counsel to HR Business Partner's and line managers /employees in line with all Employee Solutions process and policies.

3. Act as a back up to the ES Coordinator; however lead and coach to assist in producing and processing employee ES correspondence and lead/drive effective transactions, which includes management and effectiveness of Diageo One. Work closely with ES Coordinator to ensure the accuracy of functional transactions. With assistance from the Employee Solutions Compliance Manager, drive compliance agenda for the company through the respective business. Drive data integrity for business unit.

4. Contribute to ES strategy by pushing forth and implementing ideas and solutions.

5. Recommend changes to drive Better, Simpler, Faster in regards to policies and processes to gain executional excellence.

6. Ensure consistency within the ES and across the organization with respect to policies and processes and ensure alignment with best practices and industry standards. High level of proactiveness, edge and influencing to get alignment with global ES model.

7. Conduct training and compliance development opportunities to line management and provide new hire induction in coordination with ES Coordinator to ensure alignment with employee policies and practices within the business.

8. Manage leave of absences with HRBP’s, line management, and employees in coordination with The Hartford. Coordinate information with ES shareholders to effectively pay employees on leaves and maintain an accurate database.

9. Work with ES Manager to manage workers compensation leaves, reports on hours work and communicate with Liberty Mutual and line management on return to work programs.

Qualifications
Experience: 3-5 years HR Experience and/or professional level experience. Comprehensive Information Technology skills and experience.
High level of customer service skills, ability to prioritize and good time management skills. Strengths in performance management, employment law, employee programs and organizational effectiveness preferred.
Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Human Resources.
