You’ll apply your quantitative and qualitative analytical skills from a variety of sources to develop smart, actionable recommendations and reports that will build customer value and ensure profitable and financially rigorous execution of Spanish Vines’ business objectives.

In addition to 5 years experience in alcohol sales analysis, finance, accounting, and marketing analysis, the strongest candidate for this position will be very well organized and excellent at multi-tasking and communicating effectively. A Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Marketing is required, as is experience analyzing AC Nielsen or IRI data. Advanced skills utilizing Microsoft Office applications are a must, and familiarity with BDN or RAD data and reporting tools is preferred. This candidate will have a demonstrated problem-solving ability being able to flex between seeing the big picture as well as diving into the details. This candidate will not be afraid to question current ways of working and propose pragmatic and actionable improvements in processes or currently used tools backed by strong rationale and logic. They will possess excellent presentation and writing skills.

Understanding all of the below requirements and being able to effectively integrate them into developing pricing and go to market strategies with the following retailers will be critical (Harris Teeter, Lowes Foods, Earth Fare, Whole Foods, Kroger, Food Lion, Farmfresh, Safeway, Wegman’s, Publix, Piggly Wiggly, etc.). Possessing a full knowledge of how to differentiate pricing strategies based on the requirements of each retailer and distributor partner is paramount. This person will have the flexibility to work from their home and can live any where in the southeast United States.

Qualifications
- 5 years experience in the wine / alcohol beverage industry
- Provide support in identifying customer growth opportunities while mitigating business risks
- Track and manage distributor inventories and bill backs. Provide monthly distributor inventory reporting to company CFO
- Work closely with CFO, CEO, & President to ensure operating plan and forecast shipments are phased properly and at appropriate levels for key brands and in total
- Work closely with company management to estimate region needs for new product launches and allocated items. Maintain up-to-date projections ensuring all parties have the same information
- Work with CFO to develop distributor-level profitability analysis.
- Provide custom analyses to understand business trends and support company initiatives (including new item presentations, merchandising analysis, business reviews and competitive analysis) via Excel and PowerPoint
- Customize business reviews for distributor meetings and chain headquarters
- Develop schematics for proposals, demonstrations and various visual presentations
- Create custom reports and presentations for the following areas: specific time period measures, geographic regions, chain specific, category, shelf and product analyses
- Work with CFO to generate monthly statements for analysis of Year-To-Date performance
- Product Costing for new SKUs
- Maintain and improve upon current product costing database. Ensure database is updated and relevant for providing the business with accurate and timely COGS
- Key involvement in Annual Planning process
- Ability to translate complexities of costing process to audience not familiar with costing/finance concepts
- Ability to maintain positive work atmosphere by communicating effectively with customer; management, peers, and subordinates
- Must be a person of high integrity and commitment and possess a strong work ethic
- Overnight travel may be required
